Facial Care
Concern over wrinkles and aging has led many of us to seek expensive anti-aging products. My routine is very simple. Remember, your best defense against aging and wrinkles is a healthy, clean, diet and proper sleep.
• Makeup Remover: I actually use Johnson’s Baby Shampoo, which removes makeup and mascara really well. It’s also anti-bacterial, which helps me because I deal with allergies (EWG 4 product) - https://amzn.to/49V0crL
• Handmade Facial Soap: Mix equal parts rosewater (https://amzn.to/42IfuOf), castor oil (https://amzn.to/49DqaQd), grapeseed oil (https://amzn.to/4bU3bma), castile soap (https://amzn.to/3HUxOd9), and aloe (https://amzn.to/3T390pI). Then add rose essential oil as preferred (https://amzn.to/48llei8). I now store my facial soap in a glass container: https://amzn.to/3OVkYzj.
Be sure to shake the mixture well before each use and apply using a soft washcloth.
Though I make my own facial soap, I also use Castile soap to cleanse my face: https://amzn.to/3HUxOd9
• Facial Moisturizer: I use 2-3 drops of almond oil on my face: https://amzn.to/487BFhO, stored in a glass container with a dropper: https://amzn.to/3OVkYzj.
• Facial Scrub: I've made my own facial scrub, but actually prefer Acure Brightening Facial Scrub (EWG 2 product): https://amzn.to/3SVYroG
