Sun Care
Sunlight is critical to our health. Some sun exposure is necessary for our bodies to develop protection against skin cancer, but it needs to be the right amount of exposure. Don’t be afraid of the sun, but have a plan in place to maximize its benefits!

I sure the dminder app, which provides a guide into the amount of sun exposure that is best for you specifically. In general, I am out with the sunrise for about 10 minutes, then sprinkled throughout the day. Sun exposure tells your mitochondria to work, sets your daily clock, increases your vitamin D production, improves your mood, etc.
Also, be sure to spend time outside every day, and try to get your bare feet touching the earth every day. There is a lot of research around the concept of "grounding" and its positive impacts on our health!
Some products I use:
• Babo Botanicals (EWG verified product) - https://amzn.to/3UCOXzY
• Babo Botanicals (EWG verified product) – https://amzn.to/3MpszV5 -
I use these products, either alone or under my foundation, since my toxic free foundation lacks UV protection. I especially like the tinted sunscreen, which has SPF 50.
• Additionally, red raspberry seed oil offers multiple benefits to the skin, including some UV protection. - https://amzn.to/4k0H0OV
• Wear a hat. I use a wide brimmed had that I found at my local dollar store, but here’s an equivalent hat that I found - https://amzn.to/3I63Fru - I love these hats because they can be folded up and kept in a bag or purse for easy travel and use.
• Wear arm UV protection sleeves, if you are going to be out in the sun for more than 20 minutes: https://amzn.to/49ERE8b
