THE HEALTH BENEFITS OF WALNUTS

Walnuts are some of the best nuts you can eat, offering incredible health benefits from heart health to detoxification. Here are a few of their benefits!

ANTI-OXIDANT SUPPORT

Our bodies engage in thousands of chemical processes each minute, and each of those leave behind oxidation material that needs to be cleared out. Walnuts offer the materials necessary to help clear out these free radicals. This also serves to lower inflammation in the body, which underlies most chronic diseases.

HEALTHY FAT SUPPORT

The body needs a healthy supply of fat for brain function and other processes in the body. The fat from walnuts offers anti-inflammatory protective benefits to the brain, heart, and other organs.

HEALTHY PROTEIN SUPPORT

A serving of walnuts is approximately ¼ cup. This amount offers about 4gm of protein needed for muscle support and energy.

HEART AND CHOLESTERAOL SUPPORT

Not all sources of omega fatty acids are equal, and walnuts   offer a great mix of omega fatty acids that work synergistically to offer incredible health benefits to the body.

GUT HEALTH AND APPETITDE SUPPORT

Each time we eat, we are “seeing” our gut with bacteria. Walnuts offer a host of beneficial bacteria that help our gut stay healthy, but they do more than that. They also offer strong satiation of hunger due to their healthy fat content.

NUTRIENT SUPPORT

Walnuts are a great source of iron, magnesium, collagen, B vitamins, zinc, polyphenols and more, all of which help the body function optimally as well as offer protection against cancers.
